# Developers — Sri Ekaa Solutions API & Documentation

Sri Ekaa Solutions developer portal: public REST API for the product catalog and resources, OpenAPI specification, and llms.txt for AI agents. No API key required.

## Public Read API

No API key or authentication required.

| GET | `/api/resources` | List every buying-guide article. |
| GET | `/api/resources/:slug` | Get one full article, including its content. |

## Enquiry API

Rate-limited, POST-only. Every error response is JSON with `error.code`, `error.message`, and `error.hint`.

| POST | `/api/contact` | Submit a sales/support enquiry (5 req/hour per IP). |
| POST | `/api/download-request` | Request a catalog download by email (10 req/hour per IP). |

## Versioning

Read endpoints are versioned by URL path: `/api/v1/products`, `/api/v1/resources`. The unversioned paths (`/api/products`, `/api/resources`) are permanent aliases for the current version. Every response carries an `API-Version` header. A future breaking change ships as a new version (`/api/v2/...`); the superseded version stays live at least 6 months with `Deprecation` and `Sunset` response headers, announced here first.

## MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol server is available at `/api/mcp` (Streamable HTTP transport, no auth) — see the [manifest](/.well-known/mcp/manifest.json). Tools: `search_products`, `get_product`, `search_resources`, `get_resource`.

## Rate Limits

No API key or account required for any endpoint. Every endpoint returns `RateLimit-Limit` / `RateLimit-Remaining` / `RateLimit-Reset` headers, plus `Retry-After` on a 429. Read endpoints allow 300 requests/5 minutes per client IP; enquiry endpoints are tighter (5–10 requests/hour).
